Mark 2:6-8

⁶ But some of the scribes^(A) were sitting there, thinking^(B) to themselves:^{[a] 7} “Why does He speak like this? He’s blaspheming!^(C) Who can forgive^(D) sins^(E) but God alone?”^(F)

⁸ Right away^(G) Jesus understood in His spirit^(H) that they were thinking like this within themselves and said to them, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?^[b]
